Literary Blog Giveaway/Party!!!

She has some very nice sponsors and beautiful prices!!!
I encourage you to enter!

  1. Introduce yourself! Divulge your life's vision, likes, dislikes, aspirations, or something completely random! I love cooking, blogging, photography, playing the piano, drawing, chocolate, ballet, flowers, painting, making crafts, animals, my family<3, and most importantly God! He is my Saviour and I love him! Oh and did I mention rain? Yes, that is one of His best creations!
  2. What, to you, forms the essence of a true heroine? Someone who is strong willed, but is kind. Someone who has faults but will always admit it when she is wrong.
  3. Share (up to) four heroines of literature that you most admire and relate to. Emma is definitely one of my favorites, if not my favorite! And she and I both love painting, and aren't big readers.
  4. Five of your favorite historical novels? Sorry, but I haven't read any. As I said before, I'm not a big reader. I've only watched the movies. I am in the process of reading Emma though.
  5. Out of those five books who is your favorite main character and why? Umm.... Well, Emma I guess.
  6. Out of those five books who is your favorite secondary character and why? Oh dear. I guess I should read more. And I do plan to. Pride and Prejudice is next on my list!
  7. If you were to plan out your dream vacation, where would you travel to - and what would you plan to do there? Probably Europe! I would travel all over and see the sites, buy souvenirs, and eat delicious food! =)
  8. What is your favorite time period and culture to read about? 1950's!! Next is the '20's and then it's probably the the late 1700's!
  9. You have been invited to perform at the local charity concert. Singing, comedy, recitation - what is your act comprised of? Playing the piano
  10. If you were to attend a party where each guest was to portray a heroine of literature, who would you select to represent? Emma or Amy from "Little Women"
  11. What are your sentiments on the subject of chocolate? Dark is the best!!!
  12. Favorite author(s)? Uh, Jane Austen?
  13. Besides essentials, what would you take on a visiting voyage to a foreign land? A camera!!
  14. In which century were most of the books you read written? Well, Emma was in the early 1800's and I started another book that was written in the 1875 or something like that.
  15. In your opinion, the ultimate hero in literature is… Mr. Knightly!
  16. Describe your ideal dwelling place. Well, I have quite a few in mind =) But here's one: A cottage surrounded by flowers and beautiful trees, and vines all over! And a lake and mountains or the beach nearby!
  17. Sum up your fashion style in a short sentence. I try to be fancy, but goucho pants and a pretty t-shirt is what I usely end up wearing.
  18. Have you ever wanted to change a character’s name? Nope. In my own stories I write, yes! All the time!
  19. In your opinion, the most dastardly villain of all literature is... Hmm... maybe Prince John from Robin Hood
  20. Three favorite Non-fiction books? The Bible is my very favorite! And I don't have any other "favorites" really. There's some I like.
  21. Your duties met for the day, how would you choose to spend a carefree summer afternoon? Depends on the weather! If it's raining, I'd go ride my bike. If it wasn't then I'd paint my nail, draw, write, blog, etc!
  22. Create a verbal sketch of your dream hat - in such a way as will best portray your true character. Hmm.. either a pillbox hat with netting, or a pretty floppy hat with a silky ribbon!
  23. Share the most significant event(s) that have marked your life in the past year. Well, it's only February. Did you mean last year? You caught me at a bad year. We didn't do much last year. (at least nothing that I can think of) Not that 2012 wasn't a good year, it was very fun! Just nothing stands out that I/we did.
  24. Share the Bible passage(s) that have been most inspiring to you recently.  And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24. It's very true!
